How to order a sub:
Not to insult your intelligence, but we have this little form we use for ordering and it just makes things so much easier for everyone so just follow along and answer the questions.
First, large or small? Large is about 12", small is about 6". Please don't ask us how long six inches is and expect us to keep a straight face. Don't take it personally - you gotta admit - it's a funny question.
OK, next - what kind of sub? The I-tal-yun is a local favorite. It has genoa salami, capocolla (spicy Italian ham), pepper ham, domestic ham and provolone cheese.
Please, don't ask for a "Cold Cut Sub". We don't know what that is. And we don't sell barbeque loaf or bologna. This is an Italian Deli.
Ok, if you've made it this far, then we need to know if you want mayo or oil or oil and vinegar or mustard (whaaaat?) or whatever you like on your bread and veggies. We may have something not on the menu, like horseradish, so don't be afraid to ask. Well, OK, be a little afraid, but ask anyway.
Next, we'll take a walk through the garden, as they say. Lettuce? Tomato? Onion? Pickles? Sweet (as in peppers)? Hot? (Crushed red.) Salt, pepper, oregano? (Oregano is an Italian seasoning commonly used on subs. It won't hurt you. Really.)
Finally, what kind of cheese. Unless you say otherwise, Italian subs get provolone cheese. If you prefer American, be sure to say so. I wouldn't try asking for swiss but hey, it's your day.
Now, relax for about 5 minutes and get ready to eat the best darn sub you've probably had in a looong while. :}
Cheers!
